1. TRANSPORT MANAGER– c.£25-30K

Overview

Browns Food Group has a position available for an experienced CPC qualified Transport Manager based at our 10,000 pallet Cold store in Tilbury Docks. Tilbury Transport has a small but growing fleet which is part of an operation covering the UK and Ireland. The group currently operates 50 refrigerated vehicles across 7 sites. You will initially be required to manage 5 vehicles, plan the scheduling of frozen and chilled deliveries and work closely with the site management team and the group Transport operation.

Requirements

At least 12 months transport management experience

International CPC qualified

Good geographical knowledge of the UK and Ireland

Experience of temperature controlled distribution 

Good communicator with a flexible attitude

Excellent planning and problem solving skills

Computing skills including Microsoft Office

LGV1 licence and forklift licence useful although not essential

2. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Brown Brothers (Manufacturing) Limited require an enthusiastic Electrical Engineer to join our existing maintenance team. The successful candidate must be self motivated, have good fault finding skills and be able to work with three phase power supplies.  As a minimum the successful candidate must have an HNC in Electrical Engineering and 17th or 18th Edition.

Experience with Espera Labellers and Loma Metal Detectors would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given. 

The hours of work are 10.00am – 6.00pm Monday to Friday although some Saturday mornings may be required depending on production runs. 

Salary dependent on experience.
